Getting to know an organization that works with refugees

Sketching the future

Do we know how the Jesuit Refugee Service works? What issues are the focus of this service?

We read card 15.1 and we try to answer the following questions in groups: why is important to ask the deeper reasons for forced migration? What are the main areas where JRS works? How can they influence influence the international protection of refugees? And of IDPs? Is it important to seek durable solutions? How JRS defends people in conditions of exile?

We share the answers and discuss about what we can do in our ordinary life, with migrant people, some of the things that makes JRS with migrants. We try to define the proposals and put them together.

We propose to participate with our reflections in the competition organized every two years JRS Europe.
