How do we work with refugees?

Sketching the future

What injustices are suffered by refugees? How should work with the excluded and the refugees? What kind of needs have to be attended?

We will start with a brainstorm to find out:

* what we know about refugees and displaced

* how do we think refugees and displaced people feel?

* what may need these people

Then ask them to read individually Magriñá Lluis document (card 3.1). Later we will form different groups and ask each group to comment which part of the text catches their attention more. Specifically we will ask them to discuss the following questions: What surprises you of refugees' life? And of care offered by the Jesuit Refugee Service? Do you think there are things more necessary than others? Why?

After pooling, we will ask the groups to write a proposal or manifesto on how the work with refugees in the North and the South should be. We will read aloud and choose one of them to send to some media nearby. We can make a big poster and expose in the classroom.
